Bus mirror adjustment checklist before pulling out of the yard

I do not trust yesterday's mirror setting on a bus, even if I was the last person who drove it. Seat height changes, the bus gets swapped, or somebody bumps the mirror in the yard. A bad mirror setup may not show up until the first tight right turn, and by then you are already dealing with traffic, passengers, and the schedule. My check starts with the seat, not the glass.
