How to organize the USPS scanner loading sequence so that a beginner doesn't easily miss packages?

When a beginner starts running a route at USPS, the loading scan is the easiest part to mess up. If you just stuff packages into the truck based on size when there are many, finding them in the afternoon will be painful, and missed scans are often only discovered back at the station.
