Which ecommerce metrics actually warn you before sales drop

Sales usually drop after the problem has already been building for a while. I try to watch the smaller signals first: add-to-cart rate, refund reasons, stock days, ad spend by SKU, and repeat customer behavior. The tricky part is not having more dashboards.
