What to do when timed entry tickets create a crowd at the gate

Timed entry helps on paper, but gate staff still get hit when people arrive 40 minutes early, screenshots will not scan, or a school group shows up in the wrong window. The line looks like our fault even when the ticketing rules were set somewhere else. The cleanest days I have seen had one person pulling problem tickets out of the main line and another giving the same short answer every time…
